Imagine beginning your journey in the vibrant city of Vancouver, where you'll meet your group leader and prepare for an unforgettable adventure. The next day, you’ll step aboard the magnificent Radiance of the Seas and set sail through Alaska’s breathtaking Inside Passage. As the ship glides past towering mountains and dense forests, you’ll feel the call of the wild all around you.
In Juneau, Alaska’s remote capital, the majesty of nature surrounds you. Snowcapped peaks, misty rainforests, and glaciers frame every view, while the abundant wildlife offers a window into Alaska's untamed beauty.
Then it's off to Icy Strait Point, where you’ll experience Alaska’s rich Native culture, perhaps watching a tribal dance show or spotting whales along the coast. Explore the quaint Tlingit village of Hoonah, a place where history and tradition are alive.
In Sitka, the mix of Russian, Tlingit, and American heritage is palpable. Kayak alongside playful sea otters, fish for halibut, or wander Baranof Island, all while soaking in the breathtaking surroundings.
Skagway takes you back to the days of the Klondike Gold Rush, where the charm of old-time streets and well-preserved buildings transport you to another era. Perhaps you'll hop on an old streetcar to explore the historic sights, or dive into the town’s fascinating past through a reenactment.
The awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier is a sight you’ll never forget. Watch as enormous chunks of ice crash into the bay, an event the Tlingit people refer to as “White Thunder.”
Then, on to Seward, where a scenic drive through wild landscapes leads to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a place dedicated to protecting the state’s native animals. Afterward, stroll through Anchorage at your own pace before heading to the charming town of Talkeetna, where you’ll overnight at the stunning Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
From Talkeetna, the journey continues along Alaska's coastal roads into the wilderness. You'll pass through Alyeska before reaching Denali National Park, where the rugged beauty of Alaska shines through. The Denali Natural History Tour will take you deep into the park’s untamed landscapes, keeping your eyes peeled for moose, caribou, bears, and more. Finish your adventure with a glass-domed Wilderness Express train ride back to Anchorage, where your time to explore is yours.
