El Mercado boasts some of the best dining in the Alamo City as well as
shops. You can really soak in the Tex-Mex culture. Just
across the way, the Farmers Market Plaza (shops and food court)
combine the cultural, a great place to have an authentic Mexican lunch.
Later, you'll travel to North Star Mall, the Alamo City's premier
shopping destination and home to a 40-foot tall pair of cowboy boots.
This San Antonio “Gucci Mall” has over 200 high-end stores including
Abercrombie & Fitch, Apple Store, Macy’s Department Store, Sax Fifth
Avenue, Swarovski Crystal, and lots more. Our favorite eatery, The
Cheesecake Factory, is there too!
