We are really
excited about this special Alaska cruise! The Port of Anchorage
usually isn’t a cruise destination because the tides into Alaska’s
biggest city are too extreme. In June 2010 Holland America’s
Amsterdam became the first cruise ship in 25 years to tackle the
challenging tides and sail up the Cook Inlet for a wonderful 16-hour
stopover! The Alaskan Adventurer cruise also calls on Homer on the
Kenai Peninsula and Kodiak, one of the Aleutian Islands! The
